The Third Trial of Jesus

Our Lord Jesus was subjected to 3 trials on earth during His last day on earth before His death. The Jewish and the Roman Trials are clearly specified in scripture. But there was another trial that was going on while Jesus was hanging on the cross—the heavenly trial, in the thick darkness! In this sermon, “The Third Trial of Jesus”, we will be dwelling on what was happing behind the scenes of the natural human eyes.

Who Killed Jesus

Many sincere Christians and many unbelieving non-Christians think that the plan of Salvation would not have been accomplished if Judas and the betrayers of Jesus did not play their part. Therefore many secretly feel why should Judas be lost if He helped God in accomplishing His plan to redeem the human race. In this sermon we will see what the Bible actually reveals about “Who Killed Jesus”. We are not talking about “What” killed Jesus, which we all know is “sin”, but we are asking the question “who” killed Jesus?

God Stoops Down

The holy and pure God of the universe embraced a filthy and a polluted world when He sent His only begotten Son to redeem humanity. In this sermon we see how close God has identified Himself to a doomed race. Jesus, the Son of God, had human relatives in His ancestral lineage, who were even harlots! We see the holy One of Israel consenting to be numbered with the transgressors so that He could save as many transgressors as possible. He has linked His holy name with the sinful race to give us a better name! All this and more we will discover in the sermon, “God Stoops Down”.

AD 31 and the Friday Crucifixion

Many of us believe that Jesus died in the year AD 31 and the day of the week was Friday, the sixth day of the week, in the Gregorian calendar. But our belief has been seriously challenged by those who believe Jesus died on Wednesday. And many other Christian churches believe the year was AD 33. They throw a challenge to us by relying on the phases of the moon given to us by NASA and other reliable scientific sources. For us, Adventists, AD 31 and Friday Crucifixion are vital because AD 1844 is tied up to this prophecy of Daniel 8 and 9. Apart from the challenge posed to us by other Christians the lunar Sabbatarians challenge our dates as well. In this sermon, “AD 31 and the Friday Crucifixion”, I show it is Biblically and scientifically possible to have an AD 31 and Friday Crucifixion in the Gregorian calendar.

The Sanctuary Unlocks the Mystery of the Gospel

It is really sad that there are so many hundreds/thousands of Christian denominations believing in the same God and the same Bible and yet who can’t agree upon some vital truths of faith. If in the first century there were different gospels preached (see Galatians 1:6-9), how much more today in the 21st century! I believe these confusions can be laid to rest if we approach the matter from the Sanctuary perspective. The Bible declares, “Thy way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?” Ps 77:13. In this sermon we are going to see how The Sanctuary Unlocks the Mystery of the Gospel.
